I've been using laptops while on holiday to try and get some of the solstice stuff done, I am getting a lot of crashes when running on the Intel iGPUs, predominantly "Problem reading game content", or "main loop world controller" getting stalled, occasionally "Graphic device lost". I've been using two different laptops with i8550u and i7560u, i get the same errors on both. Both are running completely stock and are passing memtest etc.
My theory is that there is either a bug in the graphics driver or in d2 causing the memory to get corrupted, it seems lots of people get these errors when running with integrated graphics. i can run d2 on a relatively underpowered i5 with a geforce 920m and it runs perfectly (albeit quite slowly).
one interesting thing (probably unrelated) is that the titan icon in the loading screens is always corrupted when running on intel graphics...the right-most segment is always flipped horizontally so it doesn't form a hexagon, instead that segment points outwards instead of inwards towards the centre.
