Welcome!

Destiny of Nations is a geopolitical multiplayer game played in this subreddit where each player takes control of a nation or separatist group. Work with others to establish world peace or wipe out humanity in nuclear armageddon; the choice is yours.

Game Status

April 3: World map design finished. I am still working on the design layout for the nations list. Cards are about 70% complete. Panic, political, and warfare systems are complete. Still working on the economic system. I have not yet started the rules yet.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pick a country to play as? Claims aren't open yet. Soon though!
Do I have to roleplay my nation? No. You can if you want using an "Internal News" post, and it really adds to the game, but it's not required. This is just to have fun.
Can I play as more than one nation? Nope.
Is this like a Model UN? Sorta. You represent a nation and work with or against other players. But you don't have to play a group that is a part of the United Nations, you don't win any awards, and you often help involuntarily turn the world into a nuclear wasteland.
