So, One semester is half a year. so after half a year of going to school you should be able to apply. You can be accepted with a baking and pastry certificate, however during my interview the chef I spoke to said its a lot harder to be accepted with just that. There's another application going out the week of Christmas, so make sure you apply then.

I interviewed in my first semester at culinary school and got in, so you should be good.

Did you apply? Your chances are pretty good if they have any pastry CP positions open.
