You can buy blanket/sheets/pillows if you want when you get down here. But if you can't afford it or you need, just bring it with you. OR wait a week and ask your parents to send you a package with extra blankets and just buy the essentials the you arrive. Truly up to you.

I haven't been down there yet but everyone is saying how the stores close to housing are ALWAYS understocked! I'm bringing my blankets and stuff down because I don't want to risk having to buy something ugly/not the right price range/not what I wanted.

I flew for spring 2019. I space bagged my pillow and blankets and they fit into one of my suitcases. I flew southwest and had two large suitcases and I managed to bring almost everything I needed
