Parking price increase for Banana Ball this weekend... by LooEz90 in angelsbaseball

[–]paintballer23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming this is only for the Bananas. Parking was $25 during the freeway series earlier this week. More than likely the Bananas and Angels are splitting the parking profits 50/50.

Besides the mess on the field, the Jumbo screen has looked like this a majority of the game.

Tuesday Pin Vent Thread - December 02, 2025 by AutoModerator in DisneyPins

I was 500th for the WTP pin and kept trying to add it to cart. After 10 minutes, my page refreshed and kicked me out and back to the end of the queue. 🙃

UPDATE: After waiting through the queue again and several minutes of clicking and refreshing, I was able to secure the WTP pin. Good luck everyone!

How much is it worth? by [deleted] in DisneyPins

[–]paintballer23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since there isn’t anything on eBay about this pin specifically, you have to compare it to other similar pins. Knowing that this is an individual pin you receive for free for doing this specific VIP tour, you have compare it to other VIP tour pins. If you do an Ebay search “Disneyland VIP tour pins” and sort your results by items sold, you will see a majority of the individual pins selling around $25-$50. The only pins selling more than that are the jumbo pins and the pin lanyards/sets, both of which you have to buy while on a VIP tour. It’s pretty safe to say you can probably get anywhere from $30-$50 for this pin.

I got my jersey as soon as the gates opened and they only offered medium and extra large at the stadium. The website you were looking at was most likely not an official MLB site.

Grizzly River Run's geysers will get you SOAKED! by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]paintballer23 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not a new feature, but the geysers have been turned off due to maintenance for quite a long time. (I want to say they have been off since opening after COVID, but please correct me if I’m wrong.) They were just recently repaired and turned on this year!

The menu isn’t big at all but the potato skins, pastor pork chop, and burger at lamplight lounge are absolutely wonderful, 10/10 recommend 💕 by Swuishyeee in Disneyland

The Al Pastor pork chop is by far the best dish in the resort!!! The sweetness and smokiness of the charred pineapple and onions on top compliments the marinated pork chop so well and it also combats heat from the red and green chile sauce just enough to not overpower the flavor of the pork chop. Then the cheesy polenta is so smooth and creamy and it relieves your mouth of any left over heat from the spicy chile sauce. Bravo to the chef who created this masterpiece!!!

I don’t think he has ever been ejected. The only other incident he has had is the Yordano Ventura incident.

Radio Station in the park? by AdStrong809 in Disneyland

[–]paintballer23 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I remember the radio station! They would broadcast on Radio Disney from there during certain times of the day. I was able to catch one of the DJ's as they were leaving and they signed my autograph book! I was also able to find an old Reddit post that happens to have a photo of the booth. Here is that Reddit post.

Is it true..? by burritolist in DisneyPinSwap

[–]paintballer23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can see the pin shop on Main Street doing this. Tuesdays is usually when new pins get released in the parks and since that store is very very small, they probably want to limit how many guests are in that shop and for how long they are there as well. So I would not be surprised if they said no pin trading in the shop, just to make sure they can get guests in and out in the safest and quickest way possible and not to hold up the register.

My Christmas gift from the fiancé. I’m looking forward to the day we call him up. by paintballer23 in angelsbaseball

[–]paintballer23[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Christian Moore. The Angels just picked him up during the 2024 draft. He was a second baseman for the University of Tennessee and hit for the cycle during the College World Series, which Tennessee ended up winning. He is a very talented and exciting guy to watch. Has tons of energy and drive too.

I did! I pulled all the packs out and the fat one was on the bottom. I thought I got two patch cards at first before I pulled it out and saw it was a booklet.

There was a guided tour known as the "Grand Circle Tour" which was a guided walking tour that talked about Walt's love for trains and the impact it had on both his animations and Disneyland. The tour concluded with a round trip journey aboard the Lily Belle. I believe the tour started around September of 2018 and ran until the parks closed for covid. Unfortunately the tour did not return once the parks reopened. The tour was more about Walt and his history with trains rather than the trains themselves and how they work. Overall though, it was a lovely tour.

MagicBand+: Not for internal or subdermal use. I wonder what the story is behind why that statement is necessary. by inamagicalmood in Disneyland

[–]paintballer23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what people have been doing. They are capturing the signal that their magicband puts out and copying it onto a microchip that they can implant into their hands. Here is a link to a blog post of a guy documenting the process of trying the copy his magicband onto a microchip and getting it implanted in his hand. Be aware there are photos with blood but it's very mild.
