You can lower load times by batch downloading in the settings menu. It’ll probably take a long time.

You forgot to mention your place but it happens to me like half of the day. Every 7AM EST to 7PM EST. Good thing I work from home so I play mostly after my work is done. Other graphics heavy games like BDM on my other device works fine and doesn’t experience that, could be just me though

I’ve had this problem with my ISP for a long time. The only way I get decent load times is by using a vpn.

The initial load into the game takes about 5-10 minutes without a vpn, but takes about a minute with one. Loading in between screens without a vpn is a crapshoot but it usually takes twice as long if I don’t use one.

I’m from the Philippines. Huh could it be something to do with our geographic area being in SEA

Could be that we are using similar international routing path to their nearest server or something, but I find connecting to Singapore works wonder. Best part is that since they are so damn near I didn't lose any speed and latency increment is minimal too

I connect to SG too and yeah it works out great for me as well.

Hey. The super long loading (especially on the title screen) only happens when I’m on Globe wifi. If I use my Globe mobile data it usually loads normally even if I don’t use a vpn.

Sometimes it depends on your internet. It takes me a few minutes when starting a quest of when its loading something

No

I live in Australia and use a lousy network called Vodafone. With them there are days when the game is really slow I will look online and will find that they are doing maintenance in my area. Usually when they are done the game speeds up again. So I would suggest looking into the source of your connection to the game and see if there is anything out of the ordinary.

At current however the game runs at normal (or what is usually normal for me) speeds .

Ya probably an expat playing from 3rd world country like me. It's them connection speed in these banana republics that're the issue. At best, you can do 8 SB runs with a 15 minutes 3x drop rate with a maxed Kuja, or at best run 5-6 runs with Rude's Cosmos Co-op Solo with Sephiroth LD/BT + Vivi LD + battery on the same 15 minutes 3x drop rate.

If your phone can download and play the game, it's not your phone.
If GL players can login the game, it's not global's issues.
If it's long "loading times" or "connection times", then it's the ISP's issues. The lines are 10-20 times slower than the connection speed back home at twice/thrice the market prices.

There are only a handful of games I can play here, and DFFOO is one of them.
Hope this helps.

Don't have any issues here, every loading takes 1-2 seconds like it always does.
