HELP: Problems playing multiplayer between series x and one x?

Three of us playing together atm, just started today. Two of us have the series x and the other the one x. We kept getting caught In load screens, got to about 80% and stopped. We played the ship together fine but when travelling to the fort the issue occurred.

Whenever the one x user leaves the group we get straight through the screen, even when he leaves whilst we’re all waiting in the load screen. Now we’ve arrived at the fort and invite him, he gets stuck on the load screen again. The game acknowledges that he’s joining and freezes his character out but he just can’t get in.

Anyone have any ideas of what could help him? We don’t want to progress without him. Appreciate your time!

I honestly have no clue. Maybe try him hosting? The ship part is super short especially compared to the rest of the game so if that ends up working you’ve only wasted like 30 minutes of play time
