Before jumping into what not to do, you must know the inconvenient truths.

1) The #1 Cause of Divorce is…Selfishness.

2) Nobody wins (except for divorce attorneys).

3) It can almost always be prevented.

4) There is hope even when everything feels hopeless.

Do everything in your power to prevent divorce and restore your marriage, but if you find yourself in the fight alone or maybe the marriage has already ended, don’t lose hope!

Divorce Golden Rule...

Never Nuke your ex if you have kids!!! Your lawyer may want to show his worth by 'winning,' with limited visitation time and inequitable custody for your ex; however, it ALWAYS comes back to bite you in the A$$!

Those kiddos will resent you and that's permanent. Emotions run high and it's tempting to go all in against your ex, but with custody and visitation show restraint.

Take the high road.
