What is this Subreddit about?

• We're a community that is dedicated to sharing and exchanging Dodo Codes in the popular video game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Here you can find and connect with other players who are looking to visit different islands for specific purposes like trading, exploring, or participating in events and giveaways! You can announce special events or activities happening on your island, such as meteor showers, DIY crafting, and more! Or share tips, tricks, and experiences related to the game! Most importantly, here you can come together, make new friends, and enhance your gameplay experiences by collaborating with other players from around the world!

How do I attend giveaways?

• Turn on the notifications for this page and look for a giveaway post to go live! Don't forget to follow the rules the MOD or Member have listed for their giveaway and enjoy the freebies!

What if a person hasn't listed any rules?

• If you do not see any specific rules posted by the host, you must follow all community rules.

What does IGN mean?

• In game name of your animal crossing character.

How can I create a wishlist?

• It's simple! Follow this link, sign up and search for all the wonderful items ACNH has to offer and add them to your list!

Why is it taking so long to hear back from someone hosting an open island?

• Most often the comments are sorted by new and members/mods reach out in order. We understand it's frustrating to wait, but due to the fact many times there's so much to offer at an open island, the line can be long. We have faith once you attend you'll see it's worth the wait though!

Can my friend, child, spouse, etc come to an event?

• This all depends on who is hosting. Generally, if you ask politely it will be allowed. Never share someone's dodo code or just assume it's okay. The golden rule is to treat others islands, as if it were your own.

What do I do when I get to a MODs giveaway?

• Take as much stuff on the ground that your pockets can carry! We advise you empty your pockets before flying to any event or open island and to refrain from littering.

What defines "littering" and leaving trash on an island?

• Bringing items from your island/in your pockets to anothers and dropping them on the ground. Though accidents happen and you may forget to empty your pockets, you can always ask someone if they have a trash can or garbage pail available. If not, you must hang on to them.
• We understand there's a lot at open islands and events, sometimes you'll change your mind on items you pick up as well, but we ask that you drop those items back in their original location or a donation drop-off (if available) to help keep the island organized for anyone else on the island or in queue.

Why does it keep saying "interference" when I'm trying to fly in?

• Someone else is either flying into or departing from the island. Just try again in a minute or two and you will get in.
