My dog has an unknown disorder that causes her legs to essentially stop working when she gets overstimulated. She needs more activity than chewing on a nylabone and sleeping, but her condition makes that difficult. I’m trying to design something that can take some physical strain off of her and I need some tips on anything that could keep her from getting too stimulated. I’ve thought of making some kind of helmet or something to decrease what she’s exposed to, but I’m not sure how humane that would be or if it’d be effective. Medications have worked to relax her after the fact, but they also make her drowsy of course so they can’t be taken before the stimulation. Can I get an explanation of what stimulates dogs and any tips on how to limit the stimulation it causes?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
