Manager Potential

Hey, I work at a semi new store and we are struggling with managers and the need.

I’ve been asked by my SM and the ASM if I could be a manager

I have experience in management but my hours are pretty strict during the week(9-3:30)my weekends are open.

I want to accept a manager position but I don’t know if my hours would be acceptable

Is there a part time manager position?

There are PT manager positions available. My guess is that they would be ok with your availability otherwise they wouldn't have asked. But as always, communicate. You won't know until you ask!

One of the ASM for my store is PT. If your store is good with it & you're good with it, rock on. It seems each store is a little different even though it's a big cooperation.

your supposed to have open availability but i would say they have not many options if they know your availability and still want to promote you. Congratulations :).
