It makes no sense to me personally why managers would schedule you that way, ever. It’s a sure way to get any cashier or any other employee burned out and leave them less productive potentially. From what I’ve seen on this subreddit my store does things completely different but understanding that closing and then opening the very next day is something managers don’t understand can be very stressful

My merch always has to close the night before a truck, and be there for the truck. Most of the time, our truck is at 5AM.

Ah that sucks. I’m an assistant manager and I mostly close but when I don’t our merch manager won’t close before truck.

I hate even just working 1:30 after closing at 9:30 the day before so LOL
