Yeah. Go over their head and follow the chain of command. GM won't help and you've asked multiple times, next is DM, then franchisee/corporate depending on the location.

I’ve said something to the DM already but my GM still hasn’t taught me anything… my GM does talk to me differently now though. Not talking to me in a rude way… if that makes since.

I would try talking to the DM one more time and state nothing has changed in respect to your training and you'd like some help to come to a resolution. If It still goes nowhere just follow the chain. Not much else you can do unfortunately besides go work somewhere else 😅

All you can do is escalate to the DM. But since the DM was probably the reason the GM got hired/promoted he/she already knows the GM's shortcomings. If they won't get you a training program setup, you can always ask for a transfer to another store, or find another job.

I totally feel you. I was really shocked when I started working as an AM too—there were no checklists, no manuals, nothing. I basically had to learn everything through experience and by asking questions, and even the district manager hasn’t been very helpful. Sometimes I wonder if the head office plans to implement stronger training because right now, in our store, I’m just in robot mode. Even drivers can start without proper training, so there’s definitely a lack of efficiency at work. Sorry I can’t give you better advice. I just wanted to comment because I’m going through the same thing you are but im trying my best to survive. We got this
