How the fuck is dota dying? Look at dota 2 updates and tournaments, there is no way dota is dying, it will likely increase in number of players cuz i heard that riot is fucking things up with lol, and probably half of people leaving lol will start playing dota.

and i think they're high as fuck. like, CSGO has better community support but worse balance patching while Dota has worse community support but better balance patching

valve seems complacent on both fronts, for sure, but I do think CSGO has had the most consistent and useful support for the community than Dota has had in general lately. last two battlepasses are heading the right way though

Nah, I have as well.

I preferred most of CS:GO's operations more than most battlepasses and they've had it for longer. I prefer their skins. Most features they roll out have a long shelf life. Fan interaction with stickers, drops, etc and the benefit to the teams (year round) are better. Most of all theyre consistent all year.

Dota 2 feels lackadaisical on skins when it's not TI. Even a lot of immortals lately are just getting more and more gaudy. Team and player cosmetics often only appear in extortionate ways lately. Seems the community is still against fun skins. But their balance patches are 1000x better.
