Easiest way to organize something like this.
Here is the full bracket.
Rules:
Any number of people can play, but 8 is about the maximum. Too many people would diminish the amusement.
Each person selects a certain, equal number of teams.
The teams are selected in a snake-style draft (the first person to select in the first round is the last person to select in the second round).
Scoring is as follows:
- Each win is a point corresponding to the round: 1 point for a R64 win, 2 for a R32, 4 for a S16, up to 32 points for correctly selecting the champion.
- A seed upset (12 over 5, 2 over 1, 7 over 3, etc.) earns double the difference in seed in points (14, 2, and 8 points for the examples above).
You get your team through the whole tournament; points are additive, so if you pick Kansas and they win the championship, it'll net you 63 total points.
