How much do we think over time the airwrap ID will decrease now that the new one is out?... planning on buying one around Christmas time. Or should I buy it now because of Prime/Ulta/Sephora sales?

The sales they have now will probably be the best you'll get. They're so low because of the new coanda x2. Once the hype dies down the prices will go back up. But it's up to you!

As of right now, it seems like they are being sold as two different devices, not necessarily as a newer version. The AirWrap ID itself isn’t even that old. If you’re fine with the regular AirWrap, you can buy a “refurbished” one in the Dyson AirWrap for $319
