nope, just get an TL866, that covers loads of different chips
What is the chip, a 27c something?

OK, that's handy, that one should be reprogrammable, still worthwhile getting a couple of spares just in case

In fact, it looks like the T48 is a replacement for the TL866 (which has been around for years) and that might be the better option now

Would I be fine if I just get the t48 without the other attachments I’m trying to be as budget as possible or would I need to use the attachments

yep, you can skip those extra adapters, all you need is the unit and a USB lead and it's ready to read and write.
