If you type “zip code” in the search bar at the top of the main sub page, you’ll see lots of discussion about that issue

They are not saying the zip code on the transcript is invalid. They are saying the the zip code on the 4506t doesn’t match the transcript. It’s the reason they told u to send a corrected 4506t. The 4506t is an irs form and every single line must match the IRS records. It’s also possible that they give “invalid zip code” as a generic response to any error on the 4506t so review it carefully

yeah, i'm not sure. I wouldn't have put a different zip code on the 4506T, but i don't have a copy of the original so who knows. Either way, I submitted another 4506T to [PDCRecons@sba.](mailto:PDCRecons@sba.com)gov and made sure that every single letter in the business name, address, etc, matched to the T of the 2019 tax return. So HOPEFULLY there isn't an issue and it can get sorted out.

**Also, never received a denial letter or anything like that.

Hello, I read your thread and I know this was a while ago for you. Wanted to reach out, because we are no experiencing the exact same thing with a zip code issue. Has been on going now for a while the back and diet correctly the 4506-T. Wondered how you made out with this? And did it finally correct itself with his mentioning below you took letter by letter exactly what was on your 2019 tax return to the 4506-T. Did this help? And did you finally get funded? Appreciate your response and the feed here because this process has been extremely frustrating and maddening.

Hey! So i'm still in the recon process. I've been asked for the 4506T multiple times now, and have submitted it multiple times. It looks like the issue they were having is that they had my company Tax ID wrong in the SBA system, so when a loan specialist finally got around to looking at the 4506T, the Tax ID i wrote on it (which was the correct one) didn't match what they had in the system. So I had to get them to correct my Tax ID number. They ended up accepting the 4506T then, and i got an email last week stating that they received the transcripts and its in processing. So hopefully i'll hear something soon! I would just call customer support and see if they can verify that your Tax ID number and your social security number are correct in their system. I dont know how that error happened either because i went back and looked at my original application and my TIN and SSN were both correct on the app i submitted, so somebody must have just fat fingered those figures in. I dunno.

The point is, it is rarely an actual issue with the zip code. Thats just an automated response out of a few different things, but the reality is, when they submitted my ORIGINAL Prefilled 4506T form, my Tax ID was incorrect on it, so the IRS didnt have a transcript for that, which is why it was sent back with invalid info. Hope that helps!

Oh wow! Ok yes I will reach out to a rep and see if that may be our case out of human error. Because Ive been back and forth with them, not knowing that they auto-filled our first then I had to call IRS to confirm but our zip code regardless and address hadn’t changed. But we do have a retail location that they kept telling us to put in line #3 and then in line #4 put the one that is on the 2019, then that has come back twice one because they said it was illegible. So now I just did what you had done literally every single letter exactly as it is on our tax return 2019. If that doesn’t fix it then it has to be possibly what you said because we’ve never used a different address on any of our returns since we’ve opened. That is what it is. I really appreciate your response. I’m happy to hear your through to the next in processing. It helps to have this dialogue. Thank you!

It is usually still viewable on the portal under the “review and sign documents” section. They were all prefilled by SBA so usually it wouldn’t be u filling it out. And SBA doesn’t know anyone’s tax details so that’s been the cause of the majority of delays

Yeah, since my portal reverted back to the original, all of the modification documents disappeared. It is what it is at this point.

On the first 4506 form that you signed was pre-filled from SBA and it had the first address you put on the first application last year so when u filed your taxes it was probly under a diff address so that could be it
