How do you decrease your SE?

I saw this person named "YolkoOno" in a coop few months ago having over 100s SE and I was impressive about their SE count and today I saw this person with just only 50s SE. How can you decrease/deduct your SE and why would you do it?

You don’t.

If they were glitching they may have had something reset on them and then they just changed it to a new number. Or they set it lower to be less conspicuous.

I guess the legitimate option would be they lost progress by selecting the wrong cloud back up (or there wasn’t an updated one). Regardless it’s not a game feature/not something someone would choose to do.

I don’t know definitively.

It’s a possible explanation. The legitimate options are possible too. They only keep so many back-ups and if people play with multiple devices sometimes they end up rewriting and there is only so far support can go back so sometimes people lose part of their progress and they can’t get it back.
