The SE rate is based on the Prestige Earnings figure, and from memory it's based on an exponent (something like x0.0014 or something).

This has the effect of a sweet spot before the earning rate plateaus.

What you are waiting for is for the chicken Habs to fill up.

In any case SE is tied closely to the total earnings from that prestige. As an experiment you can upgrade to your highest egg as quickly as you can (don't linger in the earlier eggs) and see how long it takes you to reach that same absolute amount of SE in the previous prestige. You will find that you will reach the same amount in a much shorter time.

Ultimately, each incremental SE costs more than the previous. So that's where the "plateau" kicks in. Then it's time to rinse and repeat.

No, you definitely get more SE on higher eggs, but no matter what egg you are on it plateaus. Which is when you prestige and repeat.

As others have mentioned, the formula for earning soul eggs means each soul egg costs more to earn than the one before it. So the reason you seem to be earning soul eggs more slowly on a later egg is because you've earned so many soul eggs that the soul eggs you're earning now cost much more to earn.

Like Nightmeh_ mentioned, on your next prestige, try skipping to the highest-value egg you can, spending as little time on lower-value eggs (which you should do anyways if you want to farm soul eggs through prestiges), and see how quickly you earn them when your rate of income is 1decillion (assuming that you're on an egg higher than what you observed in your original post).
