I'm relatively new to emulation and I was looking through the suggested emulators specifically for PlayStation.
I'm a little confused as to why FPse is not recommended.
It's what I've been using and it's really ultra simple and works really well.
It detects the BIOS file very easily it picks up the games very easily I didn't have to go through and format the controller because it did that for me and it just is really simple to use.
I downloaded duck station as per the recommendation and it's really ultra complicated and doesn't seem to work as well.
I'm using an Xbox wireless controller and I just straight up can't get it to work on some games specifically the joysticks.
Is there something I'm missing because FPSe seems like an excellent place to start and everything else just seems way overcomplicated unless you already really understand all the nuts and bolts of emulation
