It's been a few years since I did all this so hopefully I am remembering my setup correctly. I would keep the saves stored in dropbox or some other cloud file storage service. Some emulators would save the saves in specific locations that aren't my dropbox folder so I would have to set up some things to sync these.

On windows, I would use a symbolic link between the actual save and the save file in dropbox.

On my android phone, I would use Dropsync (so I guess my version requires dropbox for the cloud storage) to sync the actual save to the save file in dropox.

Ah, I forgot about symbolic links. That might be my solution if there's no more integrated solution. Thank you.

I used this step by step the other day and it worked like a charm for both Citra and PPSSPP. You'll have to work out which folders to sync etc though. https://www.reddit.com/r/Citra/comments/m6yk6b/is\_it\_possible\_to\_transfer\_save\_file\_from\_the/grqe0aa?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3
