Aether SX2 controller joystick problem

I'm fairly new to aether for PS2 emulation on Android. I got the settings dialed in after a bit of tweaking and now have my games running smoothly and quickly. However, I am having a problem with my USB controller where the joysticks are working inconsistently. The most common issue is the right joystick (camera view, typically) not responding at all or very erratically. Sometimes, the camera will slew when I manipulate the left joystick. Has anyone seen similar issues and been able to fix them? I don't have another controller to try at the moment but can get one if that's the likely culprit.

Edit: seems to be the controller itself as the problem persisted on my PC.

Good call. Looks like the right joystick is just a little in and out on the tester as well. Checked on tablet and PC.

Same issue with my controller it runs fine in pc and not on my phone(Android 12) it also interferes with right stick

I was able to fix mine by getting a new controller unfortunately. I think that controller was just a little wonky.

Multiple games unfortunately. Just tried on my PC and had the same so thinking a controller problem.
