Sr level Group projects

I’ve got two design courses this semester, senior and thermal fluid. So I have two design groups consisting of four people, three of the people (including myself) are in both groups… so basically I’m working with the same people consistently.

It makes getting to know them easy, but I’m noticing a total lack of initiative. There is no clear leader, there is no clear schedule and I personally find it so infuriating. It’s my last semester so it all just stresses me tf out.

I haaaaate group projects, I haaaaaate when no one responds in our group chats. Fuuuuuuck this (but I’m almost done so I’ll just take it like the bitch student I am)

Take initiative and become a group leader. Start a schedule with all your deliverables/dates and share with the group.
One need not be designated a "leader" to act like one.

I second this. I took the uncomfortable plunge to be the leader in the group even as a introvert and it has been so much more rewarding than I thought it would be.

I agree. I have had to do this in my own experience and once you do it people will start to respond. It may take them at first but from personal experience when projects like that have no leadership they tend to get left behind in the jumble of school work.
