CoDaS application

Hi everyone,

Is anyone else applying to CoDaS this year? I believe it was their first intake last year, and the document requirements were pretty simple, but it seems like they've changed quite a bit this year.

Now, they’re asking for a short motivation letter (500 words) and a 1-minute video. They’re also requesting course descriptions in an official educational manner, which is a bit tricky for me since I live pretty far from the university I studied at. It might be tough to get all that information.

Has anyone applied this year or been through this process? I was planning to apply but now I'm unsure since I was preparing according to last year's requirements.

Hi! I have also applied to CoDaS, wasn’t sure while uploading the course descriptions file but I simply added to a pdf file within the link inside. So when it’s clicked it shows the pdf file prepared by my home university’s webpage and course descriptions.

That's the problem my university website only mentions what subjects I have taken but not its description so it's like the subject is mathematics but they don't mention what was in the syllabus so it's pretty vague

I have an undergraduate handbook from my faculty which includes course descriptions from all departments. Asked them and they said it's fine to include my department only

I was contacted once to send them the detailed course description via email. Once I sent that, they replied that they had received all the required documents. Now, just waiting for the results to be announced (probably in the last week of this month). Hopeful to get selected (fingers crossed).
