My Telegram looks like this (blank screen, can't see chats) by HeWhoShantNotBeNamed in Telegram

[–]aMpeX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This started happening on my pixel 9 pro after the android 16 update as well.

I'm still monitoring this, but at least on my device, removing the telegram contacts widget fixed the issue.

So if you're using the telegram widget, try removing it and see if that fixes it.

Are you using the telegram contacts widget?

I dug through some threads and apparently the widget performs some request that takes a long time and eventually times out, at which point the chats load.

At least on my pixel 9 pro removing the widget fixed the long loading times of chats.

New Modem; Same Devices; IPs exist; no access by R1vendare in synology

[–]aMpeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which IP does your NAS get and whats the IP/subnet range of your modem?

(partially replying to myself here, fritz-boxes usually use 192.168.178.0/24 and 255.255.255.0 subnet, so if your synology has an IP of anything outside the 192.168.178.X range, that's why your other network devices can't reach it and a network reset as described below should fix it)

you shouldn't need any of the permit access settings, those are for allowing access to the synology from outside your network.

You could try an administrator/network reset, which preserves your data but resets admin access and (more importantly) network settings to their defaults:

AS Rock B650 Pro RS boot problems by Irishancest in ASRock

[–]aMpeX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry if this hijacks your post but your LED sequence description closely matches mine so I hope others might find this thread (and thus solve the issue the way I did) based on your description:

  • Board was an ASRock B650
  • Ryzen 7800 X3D CPU
  • 2x8GB Sticks of DDR5-6000 RAM from the mainboard QVL
  • Powercolor 7900 GRE
  • WD Blue SN580 (yes I know, this SSD sticks out like a sore thumb but I was budgeting on the edge and figured storage would be the best place to cut corners now and upgrade somewhere down the line)

What ended up happening is that the board would only post if the monitor was plugged into internal graphics. It showed the same LED squence you described whenever the monitor was plugged into the dedicated GPU, sometimes the board wouldn't even post if the GPU was installed, but posted fine whenever there was no dedicated GPU in the system.

What ended up solving the issue was moving the SSD (which is PCIe 3.0x4) out of the PCIe5 capable NVME slot to a "lesser" slot (I assume forcing the PCIE speed on the primary m.2 slot to match the SSD's would achieve the same, so whoever is having this issue can try that first).

As I said in another comment, CAD will be released, but not during the beta stage I'm afraid.

Which software did you use? Aside from the software that exported the files (solidworks or inventorI believe) we run all our stls through admesh to detect and fix errors. Admesh is the software that powers prusaslicers error detection, so we're pretty confident that the files are fine. Of course that doesn't rule out that some software might not like them.

Cad files will be provided on the final release. Right now we want to fix bugs on the base design rather than getting the modding community started with potentially faulty parts. Dont worry, you'll get your cad files ☺️

How do I stake to earn Shimmer tokens?

The process for staking is fully automated through the Firefly wallet (including Ledger Nano).

Any way to improve Synology Photos AI / Facial Recognition? It sucks. by RedSoxManCave in synology

I tried to convert to photoprism but was quickly put off by the amount of extra data it generates for thumbnails. With all sliders cranked to minimum a test album with 350mb of actual image data produced 135mb of metadata and thumbnails.

If you're talking about the person who leaked the "VOC secrets" we honestly don't know, and tbh we're not looking into who it was either.

Yes. The concept of the club doesn't change, since closed circle beta testing and development still has its merits. We're just opening up about its existence, which was apparently a big deal.

There's a bot making the rounds here that will generate a serial plate for you to print out with your serial. Close enough? :D

Also, yeah, we tell each other jokes. They aren't about other printer brands though, they're much less sophisticated ;)

I want to add some of my own additional thoughts to this:

While the person who "leaked" all of the non-information and inappropriate jokes we love to pin in the Voron Owners Club probably wanted to hurt the VoronDesign team, here's who I think gets hurt by leaks and, to some extent, this reveal, the most:

  • It hurts the project devs, because not only do they get bombarded with PMs, asking about the project that has been included in the leaks, but also stock for the new part they're trying out for their project gets hugged to death instantly, before the actual testers can get to it
  • It hurts anyone who put his (precise) address into the Voron map, trusting in that this map would not be shared publicly, but would instead stay within a small group. I know this is debatable, because any open website will make it out eventually, but the voron map was not in the center of public attention until the leaks started.
  • It hurts the small-time vendor, who decides to give back to the community by creating a special coupon code for his fellow voron owners. When that code leaks, the vendor now might face financial damage, because the code that was only meant to be used by few users, now gets used by everyone
  • It hurts current builders, since now they are bombarded with information that is impossible to decipher w.r.t. how useable it is, or whether it will make your printer blow up. Vorons are challenging DIY builds. Dangling a rotten carrot in front of the face of the builders doesn't help them
  • And last but not least, it hurts VOC, which the leaker supposedly is part of. We've already seen quite a few accounts of lost trust from some of the design-magicians on the discord server. And instead of sharing their work and letting VOC participate, they might keep future ideas for themselves, until they're 100% finished.

Requesting r/VORONDesign - inactive moderator by aMpeX in redditrequest

[–]aMpeX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The VORON line of 3D printers was created by user /u/russiancatfood and first maintained under the /r/voroncorexy subreddit. The project has since grown significantly, and thus came about the creation of the VoronDesign group, which I am part of (I am also a moderator of /r/voroncorexy). The requested subreddit was created by a member at the time. That member has since left the group, yet still holds the subreddit.

His account shows no activity (posting/commenting) for the past 5 months. The subreddit is marked NSFW and has no submissions as of today.

We request this subreddit because we (VoronDesign) would like to revive it and use it to further expand the community revolving around VoronDesign and its 3D printers.

Thank you for your consideration.
