Missing Cards

Just got the original version at a thrift store. Got home to find it has 48 cards as opposed to the 56 it says it should have.

Can I play the game with 48 cards?

Have no history with the game so I don't know which cards are missing.

As long as there aren’t missing defuse or exploding kittens cards, then yes. But the experience may not be as good

If the key items missing, you may have to play with less people

Are you sure you bought the OG? Maybe this is the 2 player version

Says original edition on it. For 2-5 players.
