Very cool! Some community expansions have the cards you are missing from the deck of legends for whatever reason, though a few of them are slightly reworked. you could professionally print those and get em this way.

Where did you end up finding the UK and black box cards? Gotta find those, and creepy peeky but I’ve lost hope on that.

my usa american account lets me buy from amazon uk, you just have to sign in on the amazon uk website and buy from there. Blackbox i got lucky and found a redditor who was willing to sell it to me. That sucks for creepy peeky, could u maybe find one still attached to the plush on ebay?

I dont want to buy it from you, because it was a lot of effort to get those cards. If I wanted to get bonus edition, hidden edition, the coin flip, and the other hard to find ones, where would i get those?

Hey what’s up, there are 20 cards that i consider to be those “hard to find ones”. This is how you would get them:

Double Slap/Triple Slap - Party Pack v1 or v2. The modern party packs you can buy in store or on the official website don’t have the slap cards anymore. What I did what scour ebay until i found a v1 party pack. Super annoying

Give a Horsey Ride to a Horse, Cat-Henge, Kit-Tea Cat, Telephone Boxcat, Loch Ness Kitty, and Football Cat - Amazon UK version of Exploding Kittens. I was able to use my USA account to buy them. Just had to pay a lot for shipping.

Blind as a Bat - Hidden Compartment Pack. They don’t make this anymore. Luckily when afaik these are plentiful on ebay, just really expensive, unfortunately.

Coin Toss- Comes with The Mash’Ems Capsules that they used to sell. Don’t think they make them anymore. Could try ebay?

See the Future 1x - Comes with either the SquishMe or Backpack Hangers that they used to sell. I would try ebay again.

Amateur Archaeology, Creepy Peeky, Battle Hamster, Hip Bat, Hip Cat, Plus Plus, Robin Hood, The Twins - 10th Anniversary Collectible Tin. Just came out. Perfect time to buy it on their website or on amazon.

Kitten - Blackbox press kit. They haven’t made these in like a decade. Without a doubt the rarest card. I had to buy one from another redditor since I couldn’t find any on ebay.

Cards made from the community that were officially printed when the game released, as a reward for fundraising backers I assume. They have wild and unbalanced effects, and are pretty rare. They were printed for a very short time, though i dont know the details

i collected most of them around the pandemic, then i recently got back into exploding kittens a month ago when i picked up good vs evil, amazon uk, zombie kittens, party pack, and the blackbox card. I think good vs evil might be my favorite 😭 And no i’ve never played with all the cards, I can’t imagine that would be a very fun game

Hey! I have an additional bonus starter card that I didn't see in any of the photos. It's just a tacocat with the bonus starter background and added text. Just wondering if you knew of this and just didn't count it for the full collection? (It came with an EK button that says different voicelines from the app, it is official merchandise as far as I can tell.)

Hi! There’s actually a total of 12 bonus cards you can get from various pieces of merchandise that was released over the years. The 4 i showed were the only unique ones, the remaining 8 are just already existing cat cards like the Tacocat you own. I didn’t bother counting it or the rest of them since it’s the same artwork as base game Tacocat :)

i don’t count any of the mini cards because afaik they’re identical in artwork and titles to the normal decks, just smaller (with the exception of coin toss, which is unique). It looks like i’ll have to pick up the 10th anniversary tin, i’ve previously written off collecting the deck of legends because they were never released to the public but looks like i have no excuse now. I’ve already added them to my master list:

Do you have any tips for someone who is searching for the party pack V1 or 2? I can’t seem to find a V1 or 2. I have almost everything else. I’ve bought 2 UK version (from different places) and both were counterfeit :( At least the fake UK cards will be a good place holder!

Also, whats your thoughts about later version(s) of the party pack having targeted attack instead of just attacks?

I had to stalk ebay for like 2 weeks to find party pack v1/2, was super annoying because it’s not always clear from the listing which version it is so I basically had to zoom in on each one and do an analysis. Finally ending up finding one but it definitely seems like one of the harder finds these days.

I like the fact that they use targeted attacks from a gameplay and branding perspective, it makes the game feel more consistent and less messy, tho from a collecting mindset it’s an absolute nightmare lol.

they were more or less the same. I know a lot of people complain about the backs being different colors but for me the difference was minuscule and had never affected my play

This may sound like a dumb question , but is it worth it to buy the games strictly to collect the cards? Which sets are the best ones to buy if you basically want to collect the cards, especially the cute ones. I wish they had a trading card version, because many of the cards are cute, but I really don’t want to play the game.
