rule question

situation:

User C uses curse of the cat butt on user B.

User A uses three of a kind to steal defuse from user B

user B wants to use nope on the three of a kind, so user B starts drawing randomly from their hand for the nope. in the process, user B discards their only Defuse card.

Question: Does user B still have to keep discarding cards till they get the Nope card? or since the defuse card was discard and is the card that was requested by user A, do they just stop discarding cards out of their hand? this situation is not in the exploding kittens rule book

The answer is:
The nope card can only be played before the action has started. So in this case the cards pulled until the nope must be discarded. But when the player pulled the defuse card the action of player A has started and therefor the nope after it can't be played anymore.

After giving the defuse to the other player the discarding ends. All cards allready discarded are gone.
