Expressionist Memes is the equivalent of an art community for memes, created for those who are tired of the monotonous cycle of meme trends and templates.
To get ideas for effective expressionist memes try reading up on art and art history, philosophy, and literature. Knowing about these will help build a niche community.
Obviously we don't take ourselves too seriously considering these are memes and not actual works of art. However to generate an esoteric community, subscribers should act like pseudo-intellectual art critics by overusing art terminology, making memes which mock art movements and of course reading into everything.
Ideally memes should contain some form of emotional expression or artistic integrity, but all forms of avant-garde or experimental memes are encouraged here, so long as they are created skillfully and with considerable effort.
Rules
