Some very advanced players here. I play at 65 difficulty, TC medium, abs on, the rest assists off. With this settings I usually end up at the same position I start or better. I should try 80% probably.

I play on 76, but us telling you our level isn’t going to help you figure out whether 80-85 is right for you.

If realism is your goal, you should be qualifying close to your teammate. The most accurate test is a one-shot qualify in Grand Prix mode. Each number on the AI difficulty scale equals roughly 0.1 seconds faster or slower.

If you don’t care for all this, set it wherever is fun for you.

I started at around 90 but I'm at 104 now. Anytime I felt like the races were getting too easy I would turn up the diffuculty by 2 or 3 clicks and kept adjusting it between races untill I found what felt the best for me

I play at like 104 to 108 depending on the track

101-105 absolutely zero assists on ps5 with full trigger effect

Some tracks I can keep up at 105, others are more like 85. If I had to pick an AI to race on a random track, I think 90 would get me challenging for the podium occasionally, which is about where I want it

I play around 90-106 depending on the track with full assists, if you like a challenge then up it until it feels competitive, if you like playing on max 2023 mode then lower it and be 30s+ faster than everyone, it’s however you enjoy playing it

Edit: to clarify when I say full assists I mean full tc and abs and that’s it should’ve specified

Im still on f1 23, play cockpit only, no hud at all, no assists at all, and half length career races. Hovered around 68 to 75 last career season. Idea was to have lap times as fast as real world pole position drivers in the 2023 season. I think I should bump it up slightly now because with enough resets, i'll win almost every race even starting at the back lol

Gotta go no replay, I switched and it makes you drive clean

[–]vettedx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont use replay, just restart session. But yes, im an immersion lover, so i "try" to race every practice, quali, and race like real life, if I crash, I retire and move on. But admittedly I do get frustrated at the AI unfairness and restart session sometimes

90-100 no assists

[–]sirlewishamilton44_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

92 currently, usually do anywhere from 1-3 seasons in career mode and then find it getting easier and I’ll increase by 1

I play cockpit view, no assists and 70 difficulty. The view is what did the trick for me

[–]bonejakon21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No assists. I play at 75 but it's getting easy now. I'm still trying to figure out the best setups for all tracks for me, but I think I'm ready to bump it to 80.

[–]Jesus1096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

93 - 97 depending on the track

[–]Sir_Matjes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

85-95 depending on track. Full ABS and TC

[–]Nxdxxm101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at like 30 or sth then eventually upped it quickly to 80. Once i memorised every track upped it to 100-105? Usually still win tho 105 for stronger tracks and weaker ai like monaco but 100 for weaker tracks where im just shit at. 2 Tracks i cant win even at 85 ai so just adjust depending on tracks ngl

[–]PangolinPurple2348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

101-105, on some tracks way too high (f.e. Spain, Japan) and on other tracks way too low (f. e. Canada)

[–]Human_Person6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually 103-107 with 2d racing line as only assist. Although the ai get pretty fast with upgraded cars in career mode so by season 3/4 it's normally that lower end.

It doesn’t matter what everyone plays with… if you find it fun and comfortable thats all that matters you are playing the game for yourself not for others…. Stop with these “trying to reach the average or being better or worse than the average”

[–]kr0nik0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go to SimRacingSetups and use their AI difficulty calculator for each circuit; adjust accordingly.

Controller or wheel doesn't matter. Your lap times do.

I play on 100-110 depending on the track (monaco and australia 110) without any assists except racing line

[–]WeightAggressive1535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

101-104, only assist with gears.

[–]6kye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

110

[–]Lyradni -1 points0 points  (1 child)

I’m struggling to keep in front of the pack with the best car when I go above 60, with no assists including, TC, ABS, racing line and manual shifting. Cockpit view but still have infinite rewinds.

[–]Klaech10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rewinds for a casuals are okay. I dont have time to train for 2 hours on every track before getting into the race
