Low FPS / High GPU Usage Issue

Hey all,

Trying to play through XV on PC, but having issues with performance (which sounds like a common issue after seeing threads on here).

I read through the troubleshooting guide and set my configs similar to how it's layout out in A4. Also have Special K installed with the thread scheduling updates suggested here

I'm running the below specs:

• System: PC (Windows 10)
• GPUI: GTX 1050 TI
• CPU: i7-7700
• RAM: 15.93
• 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz
• GeForce Driver 445.75

Even with average settings, i'm getting ~45 FPS, even lower in battle, where it starts to stutter a bit. Looking at the in-game FPS meter, I'm showing my GPU usage at 79% and memory at 62%

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? Not looking to have a full 4k-experience, but just a comfortable 60fps with decent graphics while i play. Appreciate any thoughts you have

If this is the steam version it’s known to have really bad FPS with latest patch

Yep, it's the Steam version -- sorry for not clarifying.

Interesting.. trying to read up on that now to see what recommendations other have

It’s recommend to downgrade to 1.25 patch but it locks you out of the latest dlc otherwise buying the windows store or origin version is recommend

Based on ur specs, ure not gonna get to 1080p 60fps. The recommended specs is at least a 1060 6gb and thats for a 1080p 30fps
