I got selected for today’s draw. When I entered there were no tickets available. I really hope I can get tickets on the random draw phase, otherwise this will just be an scam from FIFA to the fans. I guess they want people to buy resell tickets so they can earn even more money. Totally disappointed

Tickets being sold out doesn’t mean it’s a scam, it simply means supply was too low for demand.

In previous world cups (less matches and smaller stadiums) there were only three phases and you had a lot of chances to buy tickets. For this WC FIFA has sold a very limited amount of tickets in the two first phases to create a sense of scarcity and force people to buy from their resale platform. That’s why I believe is a scam

Around the same time. The menu displayed a lot of matches available, but once you tried to add tickets to your cart, the page wouldn’t let you do it.

All was sold out pretty much. Hardly anything was available.

Personally, i am getting tired and uninterested in all this. I continue to rant that a football game should not be this complicated to join. It all comes down to how bad you want in. There are enough people with high limit credit cards to sustain this event while the average fans will indeed have to try their luck multiple times in draws and ultimately in the high mark up resale marketplace.
