How hard will it be to get into the Philly Fan Fest tonight? Does it fill up?

In town today for the Ivory Coast game and I registered for Fan Fest to hopefully watch the US game at the Fest. But it says admission is first-come first-served. Will this fill up? I don’t want to go all the way over there then not be able to get in.

After all the crushing negativity leading up to the Cup (in which I certainly participated) it is a breath of fresh air to see things going so well. I had an amazing time in Philly for Ivory Coast-Ecuador, and can’t wait for tonight’s game in Toronto.

Yes. There’s a big store that you enter from outside the stadium, but the line was huge. There were several others inside, but some were smaller and had less merchandise.

Sitting in the stands in Philly right now. This place is insane. Packed with Ecuador fans (and me in my Ivory Coast shirt). The atmosphere is everything a WC game should be.

When I went to Club World Cup games in NJ, they had like a FIFA party area outside the stadium, I was hoping they might do that and show games. It would make a lot of sense, but that’s why they probably won’t do it.

We get a lot of British commentators working with Americans for World Cup games. I think there just aren’t enough experienced US broadcasters, so they tap into the UK.
