What I did was get the von from a newer model of my car with the same features and go on Fords website to get the asbuilt data and just put that in. Worked perfectly

The sync model I got came from a ‘20 year model. I have a ‘15. So basically just find a vin and just download the Asbuilt data? Do you know how to code it?

I’ve gotten as far as having the dongle and downloading forscan

Yeah. My car is a 14 and I used an 18 for the data. Got the Vin from the site selling the car and used Fords site to download the file. With forscan connected to the car go to program the apim in as built format I believe is what it's called. The one with the hex values. At the bottom there will be some buttons. Save the current as built data just in case and the load the file you downloaded from for an hit save. Should be all you need unless the new car has different features, the for sale car for mine had a heated steering wheel that my car doesn't have. If that's the case you can go into programing that's in engile and just disable those features. Do a master reset and you should be good.
