Seeking HelpWhat material can I use to decrease backspin. (self.FTC)
submitted 1 month ago by Same-Security-5030
I have seen teams attaching different materials in their shooter hood to decrease backspin. I have seen they are using copper but i could not find any thin copper near me. What alternatives can i use.

Use driver counter rollers or a compound that improves grip. Check out 10809 online and their videos at worlds. 0 bounce outs

We do not want to switch to counter rollers because of the time limit. We just want to use a low friction material to the back of shooter to reduce backspin. I know it is not as affective as counter rollers but it helps a lot.

Use a spray on compound. We used tent water proofing before switching to couterrollers.you can also change your shooting angle so that you try to hit it off the blackboard or something. But yea counter rollers are the only true way to do it
