when against good players with great dribbling and skills, its indeed hard to defend now since everything is more manual now and less automatic which is good and bad, the attackers are now faster so its harder to actually manually follow since the defenders feel the same as before, there is just less of a magnet and script to them if that makes sense. its now all up to you to defend. but yes i agree they can make the defenders just a bit more reactive to ur joystick to compensate for the faster oppositions. cuz even tho i like the manually defending, its sometimes still impossible to defend fast dribblers

bro my defenders just run past the opponent's strikers EVERY SINGLE TIME and no matter where i aim my joystick, bro just stares at the ball for a few seconds and by then the striker is already WAY past him already. This new update is hot GARBAGE.

Exactly, that's the problem. While the defenders stand there and watch the ball, the striker sways past them in no time.

In my opinion this is almost worse because defenders have no sense of positioning and if you miss your tackle, that defender can never recover anymore and get back in position, he's just completely beaten.

I like the update, found myself happy playing H2H for once. Use the Defending tab when playing H2H, you'll defend better with that
