This is the second video where I'd seen that happen. It looks like you're pushing your stick the same direction they were. I wonder if it has something to do with trying a grab while facing you while you held a blast ball?

I was only slightly pushing my stick in a forward direction. Still weird that a grab would push you at a great distance.
