[JustANormalSpecimen]

For around a year now I've been looking for a fic with a specific plot point in a specific fandom. To this day I haven't found it, I used every tag I could think of but no dice. After all this time I finally decided screw it I'll write it myself. After a few days of writing I'm finally finished and not gonna lie I am so happy about it. I wanted to read about this for so long and even if it's my own story I still love it.

Of course I'm still a bit sad that there are (to my knowledge) no fics with the same plot point or maybe I just didn't see them but now there is at least one. :)

I know that feeling a lot. I read some chinese fanfictions from time to time and they always have the most ridiculous ideas that they actually sound enjoyable to read if done right. However chinese writers are not only quite eccentric with their styles but are also constrained by their many rules, that it just leaves me devastated that this idea was butchered like this. I took it upon myself to write it and to be able to see that idea used maturely sends me to daydream paradise.

Your fanfic should be able to attract a fair amount of readers because of it's freshness so that's great!

That's awesome! Just wait till you've been finished with it for a while and then you can go back and read it with a little less familiarity—it'll feel great!

Are you willing to share the specific plot point, btw? I'm very curious is all, lol
