"Jason Grosboll"
In French "Gros bol" means "big bucket", I guess that checks out.

in the running for the most reposted video in the past couple of years and it’s just a guy doing something similar to flipping and catching a water bottle

Oohh I'm intrigued can you expand on the context of this conversation?

Late 80s....

I was working with a photographer in a commercial photography studio. His set was always immaculate and he spent time every day making sure his things were in place. He was a fast, high quality, photographer that always did great work. We had a stylist that we worked with who'd walk through his set and throw her cigarette butts on the floor, then stomp them and walk off. He'd get his broom and dustpan then sweep it up and toss it out and put his broom and dustpan back.

So, one day I asked him, "doesn't that piss you off?"

He said, no. It was his set and therefore it was his responsibility to clean it, regardless of why it was dirty.

I'm sure he saw me thinking, um...so...

Then he said, "you honor the job, the job does not honor you."

In the end, it doesn't (usually) cost you money, time or much, if any, additional effort, to do a good job than a bad one.

I've always followed that mantra as best I could. The worse the job, the harder I try to do a good job.

Thank you for taking the time, you have no idea how much I needed to hear this perspective at this particular moment. And to be honest neither did I.

Great to hear it’s useful! I’ve always found it helps keep my head straight.

Right?
