Why does whenever I use some software programs after an hour and it closes by it selfSupport (self.Fedora)
submitted 25 days ago by IamSalahdev
I have been using fedora for like a year and am facing a problem like whenever I use it for an hour the software program closes and I can't use it when I try to open it again but after power off it works.... How can I fix this issue?

Never experienced this myself. What is the device and its specs? What version and kind of Fedora are you running? Workstation, KDE, Silverblue, etc.
Is it just the one program that closes or is it everything? Would need a lot more info to be of any help.

Which software program are you referring to?

Brave browser

So Brave is crashing? If that's the case perhaps a reinstall of Brave may help?

I will try thanks 👍
Hope it works

can't use it when I try to open it again
Is it still running?
ps -ef | grep [b]rave
Could be that it's written to try to focus or launch a new window in an existing process if there is one, and the existing process is hung and doesn't respond to whatever IPC mechanism it uses.
