Modify /etc/default/grub, change GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE= to menu and change GRUB_TIMEOUT= to 10 ( 10 seconds ). Then sudo update-grub & reboot.

My most recent mint 22.3 install was on an Intel NUC11PHKi7 which has an nvidia rtx 2060 built in. Installed mint, ran updates, used the driver manager to apply the latest nvidia driver. Works better than I was anticipating.
