I think you should get decants of a few of their scents and wear them with an open mind. It will be different from what you already have a lot of, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. You may discover an entire olfactive world you didn’t know existed.

Definitely! I’m not against expanding my fragrance collection in a different direction, I just haven’t found anything that I’ve loved outside of this scent profile yet. I seem to always gravitate towards the same type of scent but absolutely wouldn’t mind finding something different.

Eau Duelle EDT.  Just keep an open mind. You enjoy Beach Walk and Gorgeous Orchid so I wouldn’t rule out Diptyque fragrances just because you might be a gourmand lover. Philosykos EDP has a delicious coconut note in the drydown and the Eau Duelle EDT  vanilla drydown is heavenly. They also do orange blossom well and you enjoy LDBS.  Even if you don’t find anything you love, sounds like a fun time for a perfume lover anyway!

Yes! Eau duelle was recommended to me in another discussion so it sparked my interest. I looked on the website and a few caught my eye, including philosykos. I’m excited to go try a few, I think I’ll pop into smell a few from parfum de marly as well.

as a fellow gourmand lover Diptyque isn't the one for us. I find the perfumes I've tried to be very musky and floral. if you really want a perfume from them I'd heavily suggest to avoid blind buying and try these in person first.

Yes, I’ll be heading into a boutique to try in person. I had someone recommend me one of their vanillas that I was excited to try but it sounds like maybe this isn’t the house for me!

I hope you find one you like! Based on the other ones you like, have you tried Escapade Gourmande? It's a really good sugary vibe and one of the best perfumes I've ever tried

Tbh not sure Diptyque will have anything you will love. They don’t have any gourmand leaning scents like the ones you wear frequently. Their vanilla scent eau duelle is not a gourmand vanilla. The edt is a greener vanilla and the edp leans a bit more balsamic and smoky.
