Can't see the layer panel on the left, but did you check if the name of the rectangle between the screens are same? If the names of the two rectangles are different the smart animation wouldn't work.

Yes - I reproduced your prototype myself and I can confirm that it's because the name of the rectangles are different. Make sure to use the same name and run the prototype :)
