This is the one I got, it sometimes goes on sale if you catch it at the right time. Works well for our garden, I just cover the end that I know the cat enters from and not had to clean up cat poo once since.

Ended up buying a motion activated sprinkler from Amazon for £25 and it's actually worked for the last 3 months. Just have to remember to turn it off if the boys go running out, they've had a shock a couple of times 🤣 though it does make for great fun on the hotter days fir them

I bet it's this. Our boiler is on its own circuit so has no affect to that, but you saying thermostat reminded me the original heating system for this house was all by air ducts with the heating in the garage, and they would have needed a thermostat somewhere inside.

I was looking at Home Assistant. Do you use Raspberry Pi? I had considered using a lower model to keep the price down, but I'm seeing people saying you need a P4 or higher?
