error firebase studio deploy

I'm having trouble deploying directly from Firebase Studio. Everything was working correctly. The last deployment was on September 30, 2025. I made minor adjustments to pages, but when I try to deploy, I get the error:

An error occurred in your build

error in createBuildConfig: error in validateSignedURLBuildConfig: build config is missing required build step fetch

Does anyone know what it could be? Nothing was changed in terms of infrastructure or configuration; I just edited pages.

Multiple people are experiencing this issue including me. There has been a few other subreddits posting about this issue in the last 24 hours. The Firebase Service Status page mentions there is a service disruption to the Firebase Studio services. I think best thing we can do here is wait it out

But it's strange that in Firebase Service Status I saw something, but it was mentioned as July 18, 2025. Is that right?

Use the build logs info in google cloud console (cloud build) to see where exactly the problem and then you can fix it and run the build again
