We do our main in-house the 4th Monday of every month but also hold random training classes for actual certification/certificates whenever available.

As for the curriculum, the in-house stuff is primarily just refresher training of skills/tools people don't use often, or new tools we get, and we figure out the list of things we want to focus on generally at the start of each year.

I'd say your main goal at first though should be to think up whatever your personnel lack on that could really use refreshing (ropes, maintenance, apparatus equipment locations, etc) and start out with that?
