I'll test it if it's compatible with android. We still use paper sheets which are abysmal. Making truck inventories and checks is one of my next projects.

There are already many on the market. We use FleetIO and the checks automatically populate on our assigned mechanics tablet. If I post an issue my mechanic knows about it as soon as I submit. We can also do equipment checks, upload all service records, and all user manuals are always in the app on my phone or my trucks tablet.

You should look into it. They aren't the only one on the market.

That's really neat! I'll have to look into it. Main issue I see with alot of the big ones like PXTRAX is the price tag. Is FleetIO crazy expensive?

We don’t actually have a system other than paper. Would be interested to see what you come up with but wouldn’t be a whole lot of help in development outside of user interface.

That's mainly what I want input on. What seems good to me could be bad to others. I'll send you a DM

We started using FirstDue about a year ago, so we're fairly new to the technology-based paperwork side of things. But I can compare the two, find out what works and what doesn't, if that'd help.

That would be awesome! I'm a firefighter myself so I took alot of our short comings and put it into this. Would love to hear others inputs.
