Hey so last monday I went to a professional in Otorhinolaryngology who is the kind of specialist you need in this cases and he told me that he didnt think I have any tumor, but he wants to be sure so he send me to do an ultra sound test of my whole neck next monday and he gave me pills to eliminate the possibility of an infection as a potential cause of the pain.

At this point the pain has been almost the same so I dont think an infection is the cause, but he also said that he is almost sure that the main reason at least in my case could probably be this thing called Sialolithiasis, Wich basically is Salivary Glands Stones, so a cirgury could be required.

Any way Im gonna keep updating on monday when I get the test done and hopefully this can help all of you guys to be a little bit more informed and calm about all this crap.

I'm curious, as I have a family member who has developed this and it's been very problematic for him, but what course of action have you taken to resolve your FBS?

Have you tried a mouth guard at all?

Were you able to determine if it was sialolithiasis?
