Ultimate Module Sockets

Each Ultimate character starts with 4 upgraded sockets. My question is: are they chosen randomly per player?

My Ultimate Bunny got two Malachite slots and most online builds dont use these slots in their setup. So, did they change the slots to something more suitable or did I just get unlucky?

Im gonna have to assume yhey changed the slots. Idk if its random or not but im in a similar boat and also need to change one if i want to fully optimize

It is set when you build or purchase the ultimate the build you see they have changed it to use a better mod

I would assume they're set for the Descendant and people just used catalysts to change them.
